4 Months have already passed!

In a way it feels like Sofia has been with us much longer than just four months - on the other hand I cannot believe that I was just walking around with a big belly and now we have a little girl, giggling, talking, moving and socialising with everyone.

She is such an angel. We are really lucky to have gotten such a sweet baby girl, that really gives us an easy time as parents.







In July we had a nice time with my family in Cottbus. Sofia got to know her uncle, aunt, grandparents and great grandparents.

We also enjoyed a nice time with my friends from high school and their children. We ended our summer vacation with a short trip to the baltic sea on our way to the ferry.

During the last things many things have happened. Sofia started her baby swimming lessons, which she seems to enjoy very much.


She has started to turn on her tummy by herself and she even tries to push her legs under her butt in order to move forward. So far with little success, but she is putting a lot of effort, so it's not gonna take long until she will crawl all around the apartment ;)

We have started giving her some taste of banana, potato and yoghurt, and doesn't seem to dislike it, however instead of swallowing her tongue is just pushing it back out of her mouth :) We'll work on that...

Sofia is starting to giggle when there is something that she finds really funny. She doesn't stop smiling when mummy sings German children songs to her and she loves to sit with the grown ups and socialise at the table.



The nights have gotten so good, that she even managed to sleep through the night for about a week. At the moment she wakes up one time at night again, but we're hoping to establish a nice night-time routine for her to get used to. So far it is going pretty well.

The crib has gotten too small for Sofia and she is now sleeping in her big bed. She likes it and mostly manages to fall asleep in her bed. However, her favourite sleeping toys have to be right on her cheeks!

In August we had the pleasure of having Raul's mum here in Sweden, which really was a great help. Sofia loved having her grandma around, singing songs, playing games and always being the center of attention :)

We took some wonderful trips together to enjoy the summer in Sweden and so Sofia has already been to Gothenburg, Dalby Stenbrott, Malmö, Lomma, Kullaberg, Helsingborg, Ystad and more! What an exciting young life she has!!

Sofia now weighs 5.2 kg and she has reached 60cm in length. The first clothes are getting small and we have to rearrange the inside of her closet.


We are really blessed to have such a happy little girl and everyday is a wonderful new experience.
